What a year it's been! In September, my father died after a year-long battle with cancer. This is the first year that we're together without my father, so it's been a little rough on us, especially during the holiday season. And my father's birthday is on Christmas Eve, so it makes things even more tricky for us, especially during the holiday season.
That did not stop us from gathering to celebrate his 85th birthday on December 24th. We had his favorite, chocolate donuts and mamosas.
Attendance was light because my sister and her family all have COVID! Lots of sickness going around, but luckily I have avoided all of that!
